The Problem

Workplace dysfunction is universal, toxic managers, gaslighting, credit theft, burnout, bullying, but rarely talked about directly. We turned it into a game where players can name it and fight back. Level Up, Judit! is a turn-based RPG where every enemy is a workplace archetype you've already met: The Micromanager, The Credit Thief, The Gaslighter, The Bully Manager, The Burnout Monster, and the final boss, The Executive. The main character is Judit, an office cleaner who has silently witnessed every dysfunction in the building for three years. Players can also choose from three additional playable characters, each bringing a unique background and combat style to the fight.

How We Used MeDo

The entire game, battle system, character animations, dialogue, story mode, special effects, and UI, was built through conversational prompting in MeDo. No external code editor. No game engine. We built in iterative layers: foundation mechanics, character sprites, ten enemy archetypes with unique dialogue and special moves, a 5-act narrative across 12 battles, and a polish pass for damage numbers, screen shake, combo bonuses, and idle animations. Each pass refined the previous. MeDo held full context across the entire conversation and updated the live app every prompt.

The Most Impressive Feature MeDo Generated

The multi-phase boss system with dynamic dialogue and visual transformation. We have collectibles, Superpower, Leaderboard, Feedback Collection and so on. MeDo generated the phase-detection logic, sprite transformations, dialogue branching, and cinematic transitions as one interconnected system. Players watch the archetype break down in front of them, exactly the way real workplace power dynamics collapse when finally challenged.

Baidu Integrations

Baidu ERNIE powers a context-aware help assistant, players can ask anything in natural language and receive answers grounded in the game's mechanics.

Why It Works

Most games about work are simulations. Level Up, Judit! is a mirror. Every player who has ever been micromanaged, gaslit, or had their work stolen will recognise exactly who they're fighting. MeDo made it possible to ship a multi-phase RPG with a full story and combat system in days, not months, entirely through conversation. The workplace doesn't fight back. We made it fight back.
