Letter Head

Inspiration

My kindergartener was having trouble with the letter sounds. He needed extra practice making each letter sound and identifying each letter sound. Being a loving parent and a techie I decided to build and Alexa Kid Skill to help him. I also wanted him to have fun while he learned. He and my daughter also helped by singing the ABC phonics song.

I hope this helps you children as well and I hope they have fun playing with the skill.

What it does

The Letter Head skill has to forms of learning.

1.) It has two ABC phonics songs. One by my daughter and one by my son.

2.) It has a phonics quiz. The quiz is 10 questions that goes like this, "What is the first letter in the word up?"

How I built it

I built the skill as an AWS Lambda using the Node.js language.
