💡 Inspiration

While searching for an idea to work on(for social issue theme) we noticed that a Lgbtq people were not very accepted into society. Hence, an idea sparked to create a safe place where all trans can come together, chat and have fun.

🔍What it does

This is a website meant for the lgbtq people only . This website helps people to mingle with similar type of people and creates a fun atomsphere for them to chat , conduct events and have fun. These events can range from simple cooking competition to organizing birthdays and all other cool imaginable events. Through this simple Project, we hope to show that there is love to all kinds of people on the internet.

🔧 How we built it

We spent the start of the hackathon asking ourselves questions such as "What would a new hacker like us know about social issue?", "How to find issues?", "Is our tech stack enough to build a solution?". With this in mind, we aimed to create a small solution to a big problem.[Safe place on the internet for the LGBTQ] Our process:

Ideation and planning: Google Docs Wireframing: Figma Remote collaboration and version control: GitHub Frontend development framework: ReactJS Frontend design: CSS Coding IDE: Visual Studio Code

🏃‍♂️ Challenges we ran into

ReactJs was a new framework for me. It was incredibly challenging to build a project and learn more about it side by side.

🏅Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made our first ReactJs hackathon project

🧠 What we learned

⏭️What's next for Let's Mingle
