Inspiration
There are times when you want to go to an escape room, or Main Event, or even the movies, but you don't want to go alone. This website looks to solve this problem.
What it does
By matching up users with similar interests and users' preferences (age range and genders) we can find people who would like to go to events together.
How we built it
We built this with React.js and Java SpringBoot.
Challenges we ran into
As a smaller team of two, with just one of us a programmer and the other an artist, progress is much slower. We've each had our own struggles, I--the programmer--have struggled a tech stack I haven't used before, and our artist having limited experience with photo editing software.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The fact that we still are here as just a team of two.
What we learned
I've become far more comfortable with the tech stack I am utilizing, and our artist has gotten better with editing software.
