If there’s one thing that our team has in common, it’s that we often fall victim to the common societal problem of procrastination. Additionally, we spend so much of our precious time watching our glorious king Lebron Raymone James. But one question connected the three of us: How can we avoid procrastination and continue to glorify our 6’9, 250 lb, 40 year old KING?

Well, we no longer have to ask this question because LeStudyBuddy is here! We decided to implement core features to help us LOCK IN on our exams! While we couldn’t implement all of them(yet) we could include due date requirements, “cooked” levels, and an immersive, state-of-the-art TO-DO list tracker! For all three of us, this was a very informational project as we learned the applications of HTML, JS, and CSS languages for the first time.

We definitely had to deal with many challenges during this project, however. Primarily, none of us had prior experience dealing with HTML, JS, OR CSS! A bulk of this project was spent by us just trying to process what it was that we were typing. It was also our first time creating and implementing websites, and it made it challenging when we would have pages of code written without anything to track our progress. Finally, this was our first hackathon! Although we might not have spent our time as efficiently as possible, it was still a time well spent as it allowed us to learn from our seemingly countless mistakes!

As one of the Lebron quotes featured on our website states, “Nothing is given, everything is earned.” Using LeStudyBuddy, we can all strive to win our own NBA finals’ in our non-Lebron lives.
