Inspiration
I used to use the popular OneTab extension — which can sometimes lose all your saved tabs, so lead the birth of LessTabs as a safer, smarter alternative, which can nearly never lose the saved tabs - it use the Chrome cloud service to backup all your saved tabs.
What it does
- LessTabs can send your tabs into a bookmark folder named ‘LessTabs’ and then close them - reduce tab clutter in this way.
- Click the extension icon to show all features.
- Be sure to login to your browser and sync bookmarks to the cloud, then you are unlikely to lose your tabs(bookmarks) dumped by LessTabs.
- If you have opened a bookmark or URL inside folder ‘LessTabs’, LessTabs is responsible for removing it from the folder, because it is highly possible that the bookmark will not be used again, this is the logic behind the feature.
How we built it
Just HTML , CSS , and JavaScript to build it as a Chrome extension.
