Inspiration
Many people including me have experienced zoom lag before, but that is nothing compared to what a lot of other students are experiencing. They cannot learn online due to technical difficulties. Our site uses images instead of videos which requires less bandwidth and allows students to learn.
What it does
Our site allows anyone to post images of lessons that any student can see. If a student had a hard time in class understanding the teacher or the topic, they could look at the lesson their teacher posted on this site later.
How we built it
We first made a plan and decided to use a template for the first time. Sahil was the front-end developer perfecting the template and design while Krish was the back-end developer making the buttons and features.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into a lot of challenges and ended up falling way short of our expectations, even after spending over 10 hours each working. The biggest problem was saving data into a public database, so login/signup forms and our main goal, allowing anyone to view lessons posted by anyone wasn't possible. We were able to overcome some of the challenges, but not all.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were really proud of the template because it was our first time using one and it made a big difference. We were also proud of how much better this hackathon(our second one ever) went compared to our first.
What we learned
We learned how to use templates and how to use online sources to make different codes.
What's next for LessonsDelivered
Finding out how to store data into a database, as that will allow us to make what we planned this site to be.
