Inspiration

I Wanted to give an RPG mechanics to owning an NFT. Also add a bit of excitement in terms of taking a chance.

What it does

You can own a leprechaun hunter NFT and claim rewards on it every 30 seconds. This time is configurable on the backend.

How we built it

I bought some of the assets on envato and used my prior experience in full stack development to build out the back end and front end. Highly reliant on the good documentation on XRPL.org.

Challenges we ran into

How to integrate a rewards system for owning an NFT. The choice was either to use a smart contract or backend API.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I think the overall design mechanic of owning of NFT and having it to claim either based on chance or conservative claiming of the NFT rewards.

What we learned

The XRPL javascript sdk is easy to use and fast.

What's next for Leprechaun Hunter XRPL NFTs

Wallet Connection instead of manually entering in private key.
