Lens the Goals

Is a quick and fun educational Snapchat lens that uses AI to help raise awareness for the goals by answering questions users ask with tips in which they personally can help achieve the goals.

Inspiration

In September 2015, 193 world leaders agreed to 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development. If these Goals are completed, it would mean an end to extreme poverty, inequality and climate change by 2030, but it's the role of every one of us to ensure we help to deliver these goals. What's Missing? A Snapchat lens to create awareness.

What it does

Lens the Goals is a quick and fun educational Snapchat Lens designed to help raise awareness for the goals and to users with a range of tips in which they personally can help achieve the goals. Users ask the lens questions such as: "How do I end poverty?", "How do I save energy?", "How do I speak up?", "How do I promote equality?", etc. and the lens displays a relevant tip using AI/ML.

How we built it

We used the following: -Lens Studio for development -Audio component to listen to user voice input. -AI and Machine Learning to respond to user with a relevant tip.

-Balancing between high quality response and great lens performance.
