Our idea was inspired by a case study one of our members did for a company. We liked the approach of using a C2B model that benefits customers, businesses, and us, and we knew we wanted to do something in the finance track. One of our members mentioned that he struggled with learning about credit score, so from there we extrapolated our idea to loans, which can be tricky to predict. To do this, we used a sample database of 100k points that we found online and used various statistical techniques. We split up the team up into math logic, front-end, back-end, and pitch.
