Lend a Hand

Inspiration

I think cryptocurrency is an interesting topic to learn about especially since it is constantly developing and will soon be our main source of commerce. I wanted to make an app that could provide a transparent lending service without having to worry about high interest rates.

What it does

• Ask for funds for borrowing
• Provides details of the requested funding
• Withdrawal of funding after maximum funds have been reached
• Can create repayment installments

How I built it

I built this using Node.js, HTML/CSS

Challenges I ran into

Getting it to work on Blockstack. The tutorials seems easy but it wasn't for me when I trying to implement my code. I also had the challenge of making it work without having a lot of bugs

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud that I actually finished the code.

What I learned

I learned a lot more about blockchain and how it works. I didn't have a lot of knowledge about it when I was starting this project.

What's next for Lend a Hand

I hope to keep working on this project because it could be a possible startup idea for me. I also want to make more protection features for investors and improve external contract calls
