Inspiration
Because of digitalisation and counterfeiting, it's hard to prove the authenticity and the origin of artifacts. For this reason, we created a digital certification environment that represents products in the form of NFT digital artifacts.
What it does
In the digital twin environment, when a customer pays in bitcoin to a manufacturer for a custom made product, the customer receives a certificate of authentication in the form of an NFT that is saved in the blockchain which can be verified internationally and crossborders.
Certificatoin Method:
- Timestamp of origin and quality control
- Payment history
- Transfer of ownership history
How we built it
We built a prototype using Unity tools to create a Digital Twin environment to emulate a factory, a store and a customer that pays for a product. And integrated to the Bitcoin blockchain to issue NFTs that represent the product bought by the customer.
Challenges we ran into
- Our challenges were related with Unity tools because it was our first project in this platform.
- Another challenge was dealing with integrating blockchain with Unity. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of
What we learned
We have learned a entirely new software in Unit tools for this project. We learned about digital certification thought Bitcoin Blockchain Technology in the form of Bitcoin Ordinals Inscriptions. We learned about integrating Blockchain and Digital Twin environments.
What's next for LEMON
We want to build a startup with the project idea that we developed in this project.
