LegalLens is a web-based legal document analysis tool that helps users understand complex legal language more easily. Users can upload PDF or text documents, and LegalLens extracts the text and identifies potentially important clauses such as penalties, termination, liability, confidentiality, indemnification, and non-refundable conditions. It then provides simple explanations of these clauses so users can quickly understand what they should pay attention to. The prototype is built using Python, Flask, HTML, and CSS. LegalLens is designed as an initial aid for understanding documents and does not replace professional legal advice.
