LegalLens is a web-based legal document analysis tool designed to make complex legal documents easier to understand. Users can upload PDF or text documents, and LegalLens extracts the document content and identifies potentially important clauses such as penalties, termination, liability, confidentiality, indemnification, and non-refundable conditions. It then presents these clauses with simplified explanations, helping users quickly understand what they should pay attention to.

The prototype is built using Python and Flask, with a web-based frontend. The goal is not to replace legal professionals, but to provide an accessible first layer of understanding before users seek professional legal advice.
