Inspiration

Navigating the legal system can be daunting for individuals unfamiliar with legal jargon, processes, or resources. LegalSathi was inspired by the need to bridge the gap between common people and the complex world of law. By leveraging AI and technology, we aim to simplify legal processes, empower individuals, and provide accessible solutions to anyone seeking legal assistance.

What it does

LegalSathi is an all-in-one platform that provides:

Law Bot: An AI assistant to answer legal queries and guide users on their cases. Directories: Daily updates on legal news, articles, and insights. Doculingo: A legal document converter for format consistency. Lawyer Listings: A directory to connect users with lawyers based on their specific cases. Legal Documentation: AI-powered tools for drafting and generating legal documents quickly. LegalSathi makes legal help simple, efficient, and accessible to everyone.

How we built it

Backend: Developed using Python/Django for seamless integration of tools like the Law Bot and document generation.(Currently not working some issue ) Frontend: Built with React.js for a user-friendly interface. AI-Powered Features: Leveraged OpenAI for NLP in the Law Bot and Google Cloud tools for data storage and automation. Database: Used Firebase/SQL for storing user data, lawyer listings, and document templates. APIs: Integrated payment gateways for lawyer consultation and legal service fees.

Challenges we ran into

Data Accuracy: Ensuring the AI delivers reliable legal information while maintaining compliance with local laws. Scalability: Designing a platform to handle multiple queries, document generations, and lawyer registrations efficiently. User Experience: Simplifying complex legal processes without overwhelming users. Language Barriers: Making the platform accessible in multiple languages to serve a wider audience
