Every day, millions of people encounter legal issues but are left without guidance due to the complexity and inaccessibility of legal information. Whether it's a property dispute, a criminal accusation, or a question of contract interpretation — most people don’t know where to start.

Legal-Lens was inspired by the need to bridge the gap between common users and robust legal research. By enabling users to describe their legal scenario in natural language and selecting relevant filters like jurisdiction or law field, Legal-Lens acts as a full-spectrum legal intelligence engine.

Legal-Lens is an AI-powered legal research tool that provides comprehensive legal analysis for user-described cases. It offers:

• 📚 Statutory References: Relevant legal provisions, current standing of the applicable act (e.g., Contract Act, IPC, etc.), amendments, and historical laws.
• 🏛️ Case Laws & Citations: Landmark, similar, and overruling case laws with authentic citation styles and links.
• ⚖️ Balanced Argumentation: Structured legal arguments for both sides, key facts, evidentiary analysis, and jurisprudential theories.
• 🔎 Real-time Research: Uses Perplexity AI APIs to fetch real-time, authentic resources — statutes, judgments, and scholarly articles.
• 🌐 Country & Domain-Specific Analysis: Supports fields like Criminal Law, Contract Law, Family Law, and more across different jurisdictions.
• 📄 Judgment Predictions: Outlines possible outcomes, compensation, punishments, and remedies based on precedent and statutory interpretation.
• 🧠 Smart Issue Framing: Generates a clear statement of issues and structures the legal argumentation logically.
