LegalEase is designed to simplify and streamline the processing of legal documents using advanced AI technologies. The inspiration behind this project stems from the frustration of navigating through complex legal jargon and the need for a faster, more efficient solution in legal practices.

Our goal is to create a tool that can intelligently process legal documents and extract relevant information, identify and redact sensitive information, and even summarize legal content to make it more accessible. During development, we faced challenges in handling various document formats (PDF, DOCX, etc.) and integrating different AI models for natural language processing (NLP) and redaction.

Through this project, we learned a lot about working with large-scale AI models, like Mistral LLM, and integrating them with cloud platforms such as Snowflake. The ability to efficiently use AI to extract meaning from complex documents opens up a wide range of possibilities, from improving legal workflows to assisting non-experts in understanding legalese.
