Inspiration

Help law students, paralegals, legal researchers, everyone who needs to understand Philippine legal authorities matters.Imagine you have a property dispute or are planning an extrajudicial settlement. Instead of manually searching through legal databases, one way to help is users can ask legal questions in natural language and receive source-case based answers.

What it does

This allows users to ask questions about Philippine jurisprudence and Republic Acts, and Supreme court cases. supported by a remote legal-research agent as its primary source.

How we built it

Codex -Initial MVP chat UI + direct Agentic integration. Gave precise integration instructions for calling a remote MCP-based legal agent (exact endpoints and JSON payload ). Codex produced a clear and logical winning frontend in a class of its own (index.html, styles.css, app.js,server.js) implementing this.

Created Backend Agent in google Cloud run
- Juris agent: legal research assistant, built a legal reasoning layer . Use of Gemini, Gpt-5.6 and the tools available from the legal MCP server .

Challenges we ran into

It was challenging deploying legal agent on Cloud Run that required permissions and environment variables . calling a remote MCP-based legal agent from frontend was implemented by Codex.
