Is my belief that in this new agentic era people should really stop spending time on routine, repetitive tasks and focus on things that make this world a better place.
What it does
Helps find what in a film script needs legal clearance. Produces a structured list of flagged items and the best contact points for legal teams. Cuts research from days down to minutes, so lawyers can spend less time searching and more time actually talking to people and sorting out agreements.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It actually works. Haha, just a silly joke! I'm proud of the opportunity to join such a hackathon, and deliver an agentic system, which, hopefully, is useful!
What we learned
Practiced working with MCP. Explored and learned more about how to structure agentic systems. Thought through questions like how many agents are actually needed for a task, how to guide them to do what I want, and where the limits of a single agent are - and when it makes sense to bring in external tools or services like Parallel.
What's next for Legal Clearance Assistant
Finding the real users, scaling and experimenting with different models!
