What it does
Two players are pitted against each other in a race to solve short programming problems in Python as fast as possible.
When a player completes a problem, they recieve a few points. Points can be spent on "obstacles" in a shop. These obstacles are sent to the other player to slow them down. Example obstacles:
- Change to light theme for 30s
- Change font to comic sans
- Mess up code by changing variable names or constants values
How we built it
We spent the first hour figuring out the general overview and technologies to use and divviied up the server side to Joe and Fahd and the client side to Josh and Sammy.
Challenges we ran into
React is hard to wrap your head around for the first time you use it.
