A project to find books, and find word meanings which also supports some languages and also gave example sentences, audio for pronunciation (though it only supports English), etc.

Inspiration

This is a project dedicated to readers as today the number of readers is rapidly decreasing. This project is made by using various api's with the React library of the Javascript programming language.

What it does

It finds information about books you searched about, and words meaning

How we built it

We built it using React, CSS, Material UI and some API's such as google books API for books API and dictionary API for word meaning finder.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into some challenges such as rendering the word's meaning, and some pages responsiveness, etc.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The accomplishments that we are proud of is that we could complete all this in time which was under 24hrs! Now this was one of it, another accomplishment that we are proud of is that the results are being rendered correctly!

What we learned

By making this project we got some experience with using API's.

What's next for LectoPoint

We are planning to add more information while rendering the word's meanings.
