Inspiration
After I some tiktok videos of the former president's playing minecraft i got intrested in developing a text to speech application
What it does
It changes all of your text to ai generated voices or speeches
How I built it
I used a Large text to speech module api on rapid api for the post and get request. Used flask for the website backend and html, css, and bootstrap.
Challenges I ran into
Playing the audio live after generating it was a real challenge. It still doesn't work on the online server
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
This is my first time i would say working with an LLM i guess and i was really proud because i can generate any text into speech lol.
What I learn't
I improved my knowledge in flask, web development, API
What's next for Lecto
Make it work with Google Clouds tts api and OpenAi's whisper for Speech to text processing. and maybe way way in the future train my own module
