Inspiration
I’ve 2 toddlers under 2 years old. We travel frequently / have the toddler melt downs! Phones are always available, but the content was disappointing and never engaging for any length of time. Decided to create something which both my toddlers genuinely love.
What it does
A series of games / learning games which evolve at the same time as my toddlers do. Combination of flash cards, number tracing, words practice, finding objects, skills etc (over 160 different games and levels) each with unique engaging videos to retain their focus.
How we built it
Claude 1 month (wasn’t good enough) followed by 99% of the build on codex. Chat gbt to create backgrounds, image transparency, project management questions and base images to use for image to video using ltx2.3
Challenges we ran into
Sometimes many interactions on images builds were needed in gbt due to not fully following instructions.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The app is finally live on the App Store - the kids love it, even if there’s no sales they genuinely love it.
What we learned
Architecture. The app changed in so many iterations dependant on App Store requirements, asset amounts, speed of running the app etc
What's next for LearnWithTheo
Expansion in games, assets held on server to limit build side.
