Inspiration
Students often struggle to balance assignments, exams, and self-learning. Learnova Voice was inspired by the idea of making studying more organized and less stressful with a conversational AI assistant that helps students plan their time effectively.
What it does
Learnova Voice helps students organize academic tasks, prioritize deadlines, and generate personalized study plans. It aims to turn natural-language requests into practical steps that help students stay focused and productive.
How we built it
We used Google AI Studio to accelerate application development and AI-assisted coding. The project focuses on a conversational interface, task management, deadline prioritization, and study-plan generation, with a development path toward a self-hosted MCP integration for the Alexa+ hackathon track.
Challenges we ran into
Working within a short hackathon timeline required us to prioritize essential features, balance the user interface with functionality, and determine the fastest path toward a working demonstration.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We developed Learnova Voice around a practical student need and created a foundation for a more personalized, conversational learning assistant. The project emphasizes actionable study planning rather than simply answering questions.
What we learned
We learned how AI-assisted development can speed up prototyping, why user-focused design matters, and why reliable task handling and clear validation are essential when building AI-powered applications.
What's next for Learnova
We plan to improve conversational interactions, add persistent task tracking, strengthen MCP integration, introduce progress analytics, and explore personalized study recommendations based on each student's learning habits.
