Inspiration
Learners lack active practice tools. We wanted to turn passive content into instant active learning.
What it does
Instantly converts YouTube videos, PDFs, and articles into quizzes, flashcards, and study chatbots.
How we built it
We used Vanilla JS, Tailwind, Node.js, and the Gemini API to extract text and generate study tools.
Challenges we ran into
Parsing varied sources like PDFs and transcripts reliably, and managing strict API rate limits.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Building a zero-friction, login-free tool that generates high-quality practice material in seconds.
What we learned
Prompt engineering is vital for structured JSON outputs, and fallback mechanisms improve UX vastly.
What's next for LearnLoop
Adding support for scanned image PDFs, saving generated history, and a spaced repetition algorithm.
