Inspiration

As a student myself, I’ve seen how easy it is to scroll for hours and still feel like we’ve gained nothing. I wanted to build something that made screen time more meaningful. That’s how Learnix was born — a simple idea to make daily learning a habit before diving into the distractions of the internet.

What it does

Learnix shows 4 short, skill-based slides to students every day, followed by a fun quiz. If they score at least 3 out of 5, they build a learning streak! It’s a tiny push every day that adds up to big growth. 📈

How we built it

I used Bolt — a no-code platform — to bring my idea to life. With no complex coding involved, I focused on designing a smooth and motivating experience for learners.

Challenges we ran into

One big challenge was figuring out how to make the app feel rewarding without making it feel like “schoolwork.” Also, I initially planned to unlock mobile data after the quiz, but had to rework that idea due to technical limitations.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

✅ Finished my first solo-deployed app ✅ Learned how to turn a rough idea into something real ✅ Got great feedback from friends who found it genuinely helpful!

What we learned

I learned that you don’t need to be a coding expert to create value. With the right tools and a little bit of courage, anyone can start building. I also learned how powerful small habits can be.

What's next for Learnix

I want to personalize learning slides using AI, add gamification features like badges and streaks, and eventually create a system that makes students want to learn every day — not just feel like they have to.
