Inspiration

As a student, I noticed how easily distractions from mobile phones and social media affect learning and productivity. Many students struggle to focus on skill-building due to excessive screen time. Learnix was inspired by the need to create a simple, daily habit that encourages learning before phone use, helping students develop valuable skills while managing their time better.

What it does

Learnix delivers 4 AI-personalized educational slides each day covering soft skills and technical knowledge. Students must complete a 5-question quiz with a minimum score to unlock their internet access for the day. This encourages focus, reduces distractions, and builds consistent learning habits.

How we built it

Learnix was built using FlutterFlow for the front-end app interface, combined with AI-powered content personalization. The quiz feature ensures engagement and knowledge retention. The app logic controls unlocking mobile data after quiz completion, integrating a gamified streak system to motivate users.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was designing a smooth user experience that balances learning with access control. Ensuring the AI content was relevant and personalized also required fine-tuning. Additionally, creating a working prototype in FlutterFlow without prior experience was a learning curve.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully created a working prototype that demonstrates daily learning, quiz interaction, and access control features. The AI personalization adds unique value by tailoring content to individual users, making learning more effective and engaging.

What we learned

We gained hands-on experience with no-code development tools like FlutterFlow and learned to integrate AI for personalized education. We also understood the importance of user motivation and gamification in educational apps.

What's next for Learnix

Next, we plan to enhance AI personalization with deeper user analytics, add multilingual support, and improve accessibility. We aim to collaborate with schools and educational platforms to pilot Learnix and expand its impact on students' learning habits worldwide.
