Inspiration

Education has always been a really important aspect in this world.

But we see that many students failing in classes because they aren't studying efficiently. They stay up till 3am in the morning to study but it isn't efficient and can actually make their grades worse. This has happened to us... This might have happened to you too...

That's why we created this website for students like us to study more efficiently with the right techniques without having to stress to much.

What it does

Learnivity is a website that helps people study easily and more efficiently, We want this website to help people use the right techniques in studying, We want this website to be accessible for people with learning disabilities so that they can learn just like anyone else.

How we built it

We first made the wireframe using figma then we made it into a website through replit using HTML, CSS, and JS.

Challenges we ran into

• Positioning the navigation bar to work together with other elements
• Time shortage: balancing hackathon project with school.
• Collaborating online
• Javascript for the flashcards page

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Finishing the websites even with different timezones.
• Positioning the nav bar and other elements according to the wireframe.
• Made something that can benefit many people.

What we learned

We learned to think from different perspectives and see what was the best for the user.

What's next for Learnivity

1. A CHANGE THE FONT FEATURE: People with learning disabilities find it hard to concentrate when certain fonts are used. We plan to add a feature where they can change the font to a dyslexia friendly font like open dyslexic when they click on it.
2. SAVING DATA: We wish to add a feature where people can also save the data they have entered previously. so that they can go back to refer it later...like a book.
3. A SOCIAL PAGE: We also plan to make a social page so that people can study and help each other.
4. MORE TECHNIQUES: Of course there are more techniques to study efficiently than what we've added so by that we wish to add more and more techniques to help them pick the right one for them. And the flashcards are not 100% functional yet so our goal is to make it completely functional.
