Inspiration
I got the idea for LearnGuru because I wanted to help people who are into programming and tech. When I started my journey as a programmer, I didn't have a clear plan, and it was tough to figure things out. I know others face the same challenge of finding a learning path, projects, and career guidance. So, I made this tool to make the learning journey easier and more fun for everyone, just like how I wished for it when I started.
What I Learned
While working on LearnGuru, I learned a lot about generative AI and creating effective prompts. Using PartyRock's drag-and-drop tools and trying out different models helped me figure out the capabilities of Amazon Bedrock for building AI apps. I also learned how to write effective prompts to get desired result from the model.
What it Does
- Takes inputs:
- Programming language/Topic
- Experience level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advance)
- Goal of Learning
- Generates outputs:
- Personalized roadmap based on topic, experience level, and goals
- Project Ideas on this topic based on experience level
- Suggested careers on this roadmap
- Additional learning resources
- AI chat mentor for guidance on this learning roadmap
Future Enhancements
Even though Party Rock is great for making AI apps without coding, it has some limits with its drag-and-drop components and integrating with other applications. I want to make LearnGuru even better and more user-friendly, and Party Rock can't do everything I have in mind. I plan to use Amazon Bedrock models to create a more powerful app from scratch. This way, I can make it better for new learners.
