Inspiration

We were inspired by how difficult it can be to learn something new when you don't know where to start. There is a lot of information online, but it is often scattered across different websites and can feel overwhelming.

We wanted to create something that could take a simple learning goal and turn it into a clear learning path.

What it does

LearnForge AI lets users enter anything they want to learn. The AI takes the user's goal and turns it into a structured, step-by-step learning experience.

It can generate learning content and videos to help users understand the topic more easily. We also added subtitles to make the generated content easier to follow.

How we built it

We built LearnForge as a web application and integrated AI into the learning process. The user provides a learning goal, the AI processes it, structures the topic into learning steps, and generates the content needed for the learning experience.

We focused on keeping the interface simple so users can go from an idea to a learning experience without having to manually plan everything themselves.

Challenges we ran into

One of our biggest challenges was figuring out how to turn a simple user prompt into useful and well-structured learning content.

We also had to make sure the generated content was easy to follow instead of overwhelming the user with too much information at once. Making the generated learning experience more accessible, including adding subtitles, was another challenge we worked through.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we turned the idea into a working AI-powered learning platform.

Instead of only generating a normal AI response, LearnForge creates a more structured learning experience from the user's goal. We are also proud that the platform can generate learning videos and that we improved the experience by adding subtitles based on real user feedback.

What we learned

We learned that building an AI product is not just about making AI generate content. The way that content is organized and presented is just as important.

We also learned the value of testing with real users. Feedback from a user helped us identify the need for subtitles and showed us that LearnForge was solving a real learning problem.

What's next for LearnForge AI

We want to make LearnForge more personalized and interactive.

Next, we want to add features such as personalized learning paths, interactive quizzes, progress tracking, different ways of explaining difficult topics, and better adaptation to how each person learns.

Our long-term goal is to make LearnForge an AI learning companion that can help anyone turn something they want to learn into a clear path toward understanding it.
