Learning resources are everywhere, but knowing where to start can still be difficult. When someone wants to learn a new skill, they often have to search through different videos, articles, and courses before finding a clear path that works for them.

We wanted to make that process easier.

LearnForge AI was created to help anyone turn a learning goal into a clear, step-by-step learning experience. Instead of leaving learners to figure out what to learn first and what to learn next, LearnForge helps create the path for them.

What it does

LearnForge AI is an AI-powered learning platform that helps anyone learn a skill or topic step by step.

A user simply enters what they want to learn. LearnForge then creates a structured learning path with lessons and explanations that guide the learner through the topic.

It can also generate visual and video learning content to make lessons easier to understand.

LearnForge is built for everyone — students, beginners, professionals, creators, career switchers, and anyone who wants to learn something new.

How we built it

We built LearnForge as a web application using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, with AI services powering the learning experience.

The application takes the learner's goal and uses AI to create a structured learning path, generate explanations, and produce learning content.

We also built a video generation flow that turns learning steps into visual lessons, allowing learners to understand concepts through more than just text.

Challenges we ran into

One of our biggest challenges was making the AI generate a useful learning path instead of just giving the learner a normal AI response.

We had to improve how the learner's goal was processed and how the AI output was structured into clear steps.

Another challenge was connecting the learning content with the video generation process while keeping the experience simple for the learner.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that LearnForge has grown from an idea into a working product.

A learner can enter a topic they want to learn and receive a structured learning experience with step-by-step explanations and visual/video content.

We are especially proud of making the platform useful for different types of learners instead of limiting it to one subject or one group of people.

What we learned

We learned that building an AI product is about more than connecting an AI model to an application.

How we structure the user's request, guide the AI, organize its response, and present the result can greatly affect the learning experience.

We also learned how to combine different AI-powered features into one product instead of making the application feel like just another chatbot.

What's next for LearnForge AI

We want LearnForge AI to become a complete AI learning companion.

Our next steps include adaptive learning, progress tracking, quizzes, exercises, personalized revision, learning reminders, and more interactive learning experiences.

We also want to improve the generated video lessons and support more subjects, skills, and languages.

Our long-term goal is to make LearnForge a place where anyone can come with a learning goal and have AI guide them from the first step to confidently using the skill.
