Inspiration
TASCO, Vietnam's leading mobility and automotive ecosystem, operates 163 showrooms selling 40k+ cars annually across 16 brands, with 4.1 million car owners on their VETC toll collection platform. Their 10,000+ employees need up to 20 hours of training per year, but the current approach relies entirely on traditional offline classrooms — long sessions that are hard to scale, difficult to update, and impossible to standardize across a nationwide workforce.
TASCO's L&D team expressed a clear need: they are "hungry for quality, engaging content" and want to digitalize their entire training operation. We saw an opportunity to use Qwen AI to transform how automotive industry training content is created, delivered, and consumed.
What it does
LearnDrive AI is an AI-powered micro-learning content engine that automatically transforms TASCO's existing training materials into engaging, bite-sized digital courses for their MyTasco employee portal:
- Smart Content Ingestion: Upload existing training documents (PDFs, slides, manuals) and LearnDrive AI analyzes and structures the content
- Micro-Learning Generation: Automatically breaks long classroom materials into bite-sized lessons optimized for mobile learning (5-10 minute modules)
- Quiz & Assessment Builder: Qwen AI generates contextual quizzes, knowledge checks, and assessments aligned with learning objectives
- Video Script Generator: Creates video scripts and talking points from text content for multimedia course production
- Slide Deck Creator: Automatically generates presentation slides with key points and visual layouts
- Vietnamese Language Native: All content generation is natively in Vietnamese with automotive/mobility industry terminology
- LMS-Ready Export: Outputs courses in formats importable to TASCO's existing learning management system
How we built it
We built LearnDrive AI with Qwen at the core of the content generation pipeline:
- Qwen AI Engine: Used Qwen models for content analysis, summarization, quiz generation, and micro-learning module creation — all in Vietnamese
- Content Parser: Built document processing pipeline to extract and structure content from PDFs, PowerPoints, and Word documents
- Micro-Learning Framework: Designed a pedagogical framework that maps source content to learning objectives, then generates appropriately-sized modules
- Quiz Generator: Qwen AI creates multiple question types (multiple choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blank) with answer explanations
- Export Pipeline: Built LMS-compatible export (SCORM/xAPI) for seamless integration with MyTasco portal
- React Frontend: Interactive content editor allowing L&D teams to review, customize, and approve AI-generated content before publishing
Challenges we ran into
- Vietnamese automotive terminology required domain-specific prompt engineering to ensure accuracy in generated content
- Balancing content brevity (micro-learning) with completeness — ensuring no critical training information is lost during summarization
- Generating pedagogically sound assessments that test genuine understanding, not just recall
- Handling diverse input formats (scanned PDFs, legacy PowerPoints, handwritten notes) with varying quality
- Creating engaging content structure that works on mobile devices for employees in the field
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Successfully transforms a 2-hour classroom session into 12-15 micro-learning modules in minutes
- Generated quizzes achieve strong alignment with source material learning objectives
- Vietnamese language content quality validated by native speakers for automotive context
- Export format works seamlessly with standard LMS platforms
- L&D teams can review and publish courses 10x faster than manual content creation
What we learned
- Qwen AI handles Vietnamese language content generation remarkably well, especially with domain-specific prompting for the automotive industry
- Micro-learning design is as much about what to leave out as what to include — AI excels at intelligent summarization
- The biggest value is not just content generation but structuring unstructured training materials into a coherent learning path
- Enterprise L&D teams need a human-in-the-loop workflow — AI generates, humans validate and publish
What's next for LearnDrive AI
- Production deployment on TASCO's MyTasco employee portal for immediate use
- Integration with TASCO's existing HR and training management systems
- Analytics dashboard to track employee learning progress and content effectiveness
- Expand content types to include interactive simulations for automotive service procedures
- Scale to support all 16 car brand-specific training programs across 163 showrooms
