Inspiration

Neuro LearnAble was inspired by the belief that access to knowledge should not be limited by differences in how people learn, process information, or interact with technology.

For many neurodivergent learners, including autistic people and people with ADHD or other learning differences, traditional educational content may sometimes create barriers to understanding and engagement. I wanted to explore how AI-assisted technology could help make educational information more accessible, flexible, and easier to understand.

As an independent researcher and educational app developer focused on inclusive technology, I created Neuro LearnAble to explore a simple but meaningful question: What if people could access educational information in ways that better match their learning preferences?

What it does

Neuro LearnAble is an educational web application designed to make learning more approachable through different ways of exploring information. Users can discover topics through simplified explanations, step-by-step learning, everyday examples, and interactive quizzes.

The project aims to support neurodiversity and inclusive education by encouraging flexible learning experiences and reducing unnecessary complexity when exploring new concepts.

How I built it

I developed Neuro LearnAble using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with AI-assisted development to accelerate the creation of the prototype.

My focus was on building a clear, accessible, and responsive interface that allows users to explore educational topics through a straightforward learning flow. The project demonstrates how independent developers can use emerging AI tools to explore inclusive educational solutions.

Challenges I faced

One of the main challenges was transforming a broad vision for inclusive learning into a functional prototype within a very limited timeframe.

I had to prioritize the core learning experience, simplify the implementation, and focus on the features that best communicated the project's purpose. This experience reinforced the importance of balancing innovation with usability and realistic development goals.

What I learned

This project strengthened my understanding of how AI-assisted development can help turn educational ideas into working prototypes more quickly.

It also reinforced an important principle: neurodiversity and accessibility should be considered when designing educational technology, rather than treated as optional additions. Different learners may benefit from different ways of accessing and exploring information, and technology can help create more flexible opportunities for learning.

What's next

My vision for Neuro LearnAble is to continue exploring accessible learning experiences for neurodivergent and neurotypical users alike. Future improvements could include more customizable presentations, additional visual supports, adjustable interaction styles, and more personalized learning pathways.

Neuro LearnAble is an early step toward a broader goal: using inclusive technology and AI to help more people access knowledge, participate in learning, and discover their potential.

Neuro LearnAble: Learning, your way.
