Learn-to-Learn

Inspiration

People often say that you can't be good at math, while also being good at english. I accepted this for most of my life until I questioned this fact last year. I spent a year learning how to "become a genius" at anything and everything. I spent countless hours figuring out the optimal methodologies for studying and even thinking in general. Now, I believe anyone can become a genius, given the right set of tools and this platform aims to convey that.

What it does

This platform brings together the field of metacognition by allowing students to contribute their learning methods, vote on other learning methods, and find their own unique path in becoming a "genius".

How we built it

We built it using a react frontend and a firebase backend

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The platform itself is great and works exactly the way it was envisioned.

What's next for Learn-to-Learn

1. We plan to add category-based sorting. In learn-to-learn, you will eventually be able to view specific learning methods by the subject (e.g math, java, english) instead of just in general like it is handled now
2. We plan to add a feature that allows students to share their notes for any and every subject.
3. We plan to add a kanban-calendar system, which allows learners to plan out tasks and attach them to the calendar automatically via a date field. This calendar can be integrated with Google Calendar.
