Here's my inspiration

I recently got AWS Solution Architect Associate certified. I absolutely enjoyed the journey (all the highs and lows). It was especially rewarding as I failed my first attempt and aced it on my second attempt.

What was different about the second time was that I actually spent time creating projects on AWS. I started simple and worked my way through complex projects. I also spent time upskilling on system design courses (event-driven and microservices) on Udemy.

I wanted an app that can bring these seemingly unrelated pieces together and help anyone grow in their cloud journey.

Here's what it does

You can literally pick any example that gets you interested from how to design a note taking app to how to design a cake ordering app. PartyRock is going to illustrate how to build this app in 3 modes - easy/moderate/complex - all using AWS services. These designs will also include a well architected framework module.

To make it visually appealing, I added an additional widget to design a custom logo relevant to the user input and rearranged the existing widgets.

Challenges

Party rock threw an error at the start of my prompt. So I simplified the prompt - this was the prompt that worked: "Help me learn system design in AWS using AWS services with easy to understand example apps. Make them tier 1 - easy, tier 2 - moderate and tier 3 - expert level . Use AWS well architected framework principles. Progress them from easy 3 tier architecture to event driven and microservices. Explain it all with an easy to understand example"
