Inspiration
Thought about the daily used apps globally and almost immediately online shopping system came to my mind. In this generation, especially the past 2 years, online shopping systems have increased the popularity by 89%.
What it does
It is a web application that lets users to create and log into their account, choose desired products from the display menu, add the menu to the cart, and complete the payment process with a confirmation mail. Details of the user, the items they bought, price and quantity of the items are stored in a database using mysql.
How we built it
The frontend of the application is developed using HTML, CSS and Bootstrap style layout. This is a PHP based web framework. The backend is supported by mysql.
Challenges we ran into
Aligning the product images in appropriate dimensions was one of the challenges faced.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The entire project had a beautiful finish and a successful working which I am very proud of since this is my first ever technical project.
