Inspiration

To begin with, I noticed that most of the foreigners in our city tried to get into communication with the locals, but they succeeded with difficulty. For this reason, I decided to make an application available to them that will teach them to memorise phrases that will be needed on a daily basis!

What it does

The application shows a lot of flashcards with useful phrases that you can easily remember and use every day!

How I built it

To begin with, it was difficult for me to get comfortable with the Spark AR platform since I was a real beginner. However, online lessons and information collected by me on the Internet helped me to realize this project!

Challenges I ran into

It was difficult to follow the code and not get confused and I think this is an extremely common problem for all programmers.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I was proud that after 12 hours of work I was able to create a complete application and I think it is really amazing!

What I learned

I learned to program on a new platform to create augmented reality and in fact it helped me a lot to understand the basic principles of programming!

What's next for LEARN RUSSIAN

I will release several updates to add more features like voice recognition for language learning like Duolingo and will make more flashcards!
