Inspiration

A social studies class, filled to the brim with students nodding off. But ideas aren't meant to be convenient. And it came up with the mention of dying languages, only to exclude Morse code and its unique means of communication from the main discussion. From the dots and dashes that embody this communication system, it's far removed from society - unappreciated for its simplicity. By learning Morse Code, a whole world of communication opens up.

What it does

In order to provide a seamless user experience, we outlined a minimalist design interface. Simple functions from a Morse code keyer to communicate dots and dashes, a space button, and two boxes to spot the conversions from Morse to English characters in real time. The 'undo' at the top right hand corner will fix the little mess-ups that come with learning this language. In addition, a dictionary is provided to maximize efficiency, and you can also send messages in code to your friends with the touch of a button.

We didn't have enough time to finish the submission completely or upload our app, however we did finish our app, and we have it on our phones.
