🚀 Inspiration We noticed that while blockchain and crypto are changing the future of finance and the internet, most educational resources are either too technical or too slow to get through. We wanted to build something fast, interactive, and fun — a way for anyone to go from beginner to crypto-savvy in under 2 hours, 5 minutes at a time.

💡 What it does Learn Crypto in 5 Minutes is a gamified, AI-powered microlearning app that teaches 20 key crypto concepts in increasing order of complexity.

Each “packet” includes:

A short, AI-generated explanation in under 300 words

Natural voice narration using ElevenLabs

Animated text reveal (typewriter effect)

A quick 3-question quiz with instant feedback

XP + progress tracking to encourage learning

Users start from “What is cryptocurrency?” and advance through topics like NFTs, DeFi, Web3, and Layer 2s — all in a guided, interactive format.

🛠️ How we built it Built using Bolt.new (React + Vercel backend)

Used OpenAI API (GPT-4-turbo) for generating lesson content and quiz questions

Integrated ElevenLabs API for voice narration

Implemented animated typewriter-style text reveal

Gamified UI with XP tracking and a progress bar

Fully responsive design with mobile-first layout

🧗‍♂️ Challenges we ran into Prompt engineering: It took multiple iterations to reliably generate high-quality explanations and well-structured quizzes

Voice sync: Timing animated text with narration was tricky to get right

Managing quiz validation logic within a single Bolt prompt was a creative constraint

Keeping UI clean and accessible while still fun and engaging
