Inspiration
2 of our team chose photography as a hobby. Resulting from this, we have a lot of images to sort which is boring and can be slow. We were looking for a solution which makes it faster and more enjoyable.
How it works
After loading a folder, the program will load all the image files located in it. With very intuitive gestures like swypes, you are able to navigate across the pictures and "throw" out the bad ones to the trash, or upload them to some cloud.
Challenges I ran into
-handling swype gestures in a reliable way -handling images with animation -merging the libraries into one project
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
-animations -gesture recognition
What I learned
Leap motion is getting more accurate and stable with every release. SFML (Simple and Fast Multimedia Library) is easy to use once you figure out the basics.
What's next for Leap Motion Sorter
Add support for more sorting options:
- move to other directory
- upload to facebook Add more gestures: -rotating the image -changing brightness
