Inspiration

Founder-led AI teams can win a pilot and still lose money on delivery. A short requirement such as 24/7 support, an SLA, on-site work, security assurance, or data migration can quietly turn a lean engagement into a staffing problem.

LeanOps makes those obligations visible before a founder commits.

What it does

LeanOps turns a client brief, procurement note, or statement of work into a commercial delivery review. It identifies operational obligations, estimates effort, calculates projected margin, and surfaces the exact conditions that may justify specialist subcontracting.

How we built it

The hackathon MVP is a privacy-first browser application built from scratch with HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. The analysis engine is deterministic and explainable. No client text is sent to an external API and the current analysis exists only in browser memory.

Free: 3 analyses/month. Pro: €29/month. Team: €99/month.

Challenges

The main challenge was keeping the decision model useful without hiding logic behind a black-box score. We chose explicit, inspectable rules so founders can understand why a scope is risky.

What's next

Configurable policy packs, historical project calibration, authenticated team workspaces, encrypted persistence, billing, and optional private-model extraction for complex procurement documents.
