This Hackathon was our team's first and taking on the creation of a whole videogame was a hard task but we were up to the challenge.
Our team was able to create a great game idea with models to make our idea come to life. We got a new outlook on game engines and were able to push all ourselves to our limits to learn what being a game developer is about.
We faced many challenges, including the new collaboration procedures through Github, and learning how to use a brand new program. We began using Unreal up until yesterday evening where our static meshes and skeletal meshes were causing the program to crash on everyone's computer, so we had to switch to Unity last minute. We had difficulty recording our end product as well.
