Inspiration The Indian Constitution is one of the most powerful legal documents in the world, yet most people—especially students—find it hard to understand or engage with. I wanted to change that by using technology to make learning about the Constitution simple, fun, and accessible to all age groups. What it does LEAGLE is a gamified learning platform that teaches the Constitution through interactive games, AI-based chat, quizzes, and 3D visualizations. It simplifies complex articles and legal concepts and makes civic learning enjoyable. How we built it We used React.js and Tailwind CSS for the frontend, Node.js with Express for the backend, and MongoDB Atlas for the database. The chatbot is powered by the OpenAI GPT-4 API. Three.js was used to create 3D experiences, and Phaser.js was used for game development. Firebase handles authentication. The app is hosted on Vercel and Render. Challenges we ran into Simplifying legal language while keeping it accurate. Ensuring good performance for 3D assets, especially on mobile. Managing time and prioritizing features for MVP delivery. Tuning AI responses for clarity and relevance. Accomplishments that we’re proud of Completed a working MVP in a limited timeframe. Integrated AI to make constitutional education interactive. Created a user-friendly 3D learning experience. Designed for users of all age groups and learning levels. What we learned How to build user-focused educational tools using modern tech. Using AI effectively in education. Integrating multiple technologies like games, 3D, and AI into one platform. Importance of accessibility and content accuracy. What’s next for Leagle. Launching a mobile app version. Adding more regional language support. Expanding the content to include case studies and law-based simulations. Partnering with educators, schools, and civic bodies to promote adoption. Open-sourcing parts of the platform for community contribution.
