About a year and a half ago we started working with a client named Dr. Tami, who is a hormone doctor with a successful practice up in beautiful Seattle, Washington.

When we met with her, Dr Tami explained to us that she just signed a huge book deal for her book, The Hormone Secret and decided she wanted to hit the bestseller list and have a much bigger impact on the hormonal health of women all over the world.

She told us how she invested a lot of time and money into this book. She didn’t know the strategy of how to hit the bestseller list and she felt like this was her only chance to hit it. We knew, having worked with Peter Diamandis on the re-launch of his book Abundance, we needed 120,000 visitors to build his email list by 46,000 people and sell 18,350 books.

This was going to take a LOT of traffic.

So we looked into what Dr Tami had. We looked at her website traffic, her email list, her sales funnels, her friends that would be able to potentially help promote and anything else we thought might help drive targeted traffic to sell her book.

We had a BIG problem.

We didn’t want Dr. Tami to be extremely reliant on affiliates and we found she didn’t have even close to enough traffic to pull off hitting the bestseller list from her email list or website traffic.

Fortunately, we found out that Dr Tami had a hormone quiz and we decided to use it to build her list. So we edited her quiz, our developers built it and put it up online, and we started driving traffic to it. And as we dialed things in, we were surprised by the results we started to get.

First let me give you some context on Facebook ads. In quarter 3 of 2015, Facebook cost per click (just someone clicking on your ad) reached $0.54. Which then led to us seeing an average cost per lead of about $1-$3 to capture someone’s name and email. So as we made improvements to Dr Tami’s quiz and her ads, we saw her costs drop all the way down to $0.19 per lead!

Using this strategy, we were able to grow Dr Tami’s list by over 34,657 in 6 months. That led to her going on and hitting the national bestseller list with her book, making a lot more money online and creating a much bigger impact on women’s health all around the world.

The next thing we wanted to do was make sure these results were repeatable, so we took our quiz model and implemented it with over 75 other people to grow their email list by 100k hungry buyers in 1 year.

We developed the first version of our software to improve our internal process and speed up the time and ease in which we could launch quiz campaigns to help our clients build our list. Once we finished that version it dropped our development time from a week to a few hours. While we thought it was great, we knew it wasn’t intuitive enough to release to the general public yet. Having used our own software for those 75 clients, we learned a lot about what was lacking and how we needed to make the software more intuitive. 3 months later, we launched our version two of the software so that anyone could setup a quiz without a development background and build their high converting quiz in only 30 minutes!

We are targeting small businesses who are looking to build their email list. We have specifically marketed this towards businesses in the health and fitness space, although other businesses have started using the app in industries such as real estate, finance, marketing consulting, and more.

The key feature we are most proud of is the fact that in the business to consumer space, LeadQuizzes consistently allows businesses to create quiz campaigns that build email lists for $0.13 - $1.00/lead, which is exponentially cheaper than industry averages and gives small businesses a huge advantage in growing because those costs lower the conversion rates required to make their campaigns successful.
