Inspiration

Our inspiration was simple: we built something we wished we had accessed to as women in STEM

What it does

LeadHERship allows women to find internships and scholarships made specifically with them in mind. Provides the opportunities to give back to the community by helping fund women in need to achieve their dreams.

How we built it

Built using html, css, tailwind, python, flask, csv files and artificial intelligence.

Challenges we ran into

We had many challenges but the biggest challenge was to have everything up and running.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud that we were able to make a beautiful website that can run. But most importantly, we are proud of making something that women can use to help with their careers!

What we learned

We learned many things, among them would be that it is always possible to learn something new in a short amount of time and that AI should not be something to be scared of, it is something that can work alongside us providing us information that can only enhance our current skills.

What's next for LeadHERship

We wish to:

Implement user profiles so that women can keep track of their applications
1 on 1 mentoring to allow communication with someone more experienced to get advice and perhaps comfort and reassurance when needed because it is most probable that what you feel has been experienced by many others
A discussion forum to allow communications with others
Partner with colleges, universities and work places to create more opportunities for women
