Inspiration - New attorneys working with legal aid, legal services, or other public interest organizations.
What it does - This box provides the user with the tools and information to find a mentor, receive training, and partner with other organizations in the network to obtain the skills and knowledge needed to become a better leader.
How we built it - We used resources provided by the conference organizers and our imagination.
Challenges we ran into - Our test users did not feel there were proper incentives for the mentors and the end users. They also felt the program was too long.
Accomplishments that we are proud of - Our illustration of our problem and goal.
What we learned - Many legal aid organizations are dealing with this issue.
What's next for Leadership in a Box - Our team members will continue to implement leadership in the box by reaching out to others who are interested in our idea.
