Inspiration

I created this community event site for our city because I wanted to make it easier for people to find and attend local events, and connect with others who share their interests. I believe that bringing people together through events can help foster a stronger sense of community and belonging in our city.

What it does

It is a central hub for finding information about local events, festivals, fairs, and concerts. Users can browse upcoming events, filter them by date, location, or category, and even RSVP and purchase tickets directly on the site. Additionally, this site includes a section for joining groups and connecting with others who share similar interests in various events and activities. I believe that by providing a comprehensive and user-friendly platform for events, we can help foster a stronger sense of community and encourage more people to participate in the many amazing events that our city has to offer.

It is built with wix and velo! so I'm planning to built the whole site using MERN Stack.
