Inspiration

Due to the CoronaVirus Pandemic, educational instituions shifted from in person to online. Students probably use to find some entertainment sources during classes. In that case, we have made a project that can solve this major issue to make sure student has full attention towards the lecture

What it does

UfocusX is a chrome extention which monitors user activity. If the user gets up during class, open another tabs, number of tabs open etc. details are sent to the institution and they might take actions as possible.

How I built it

Used JS, HTML for frontend, PHP for Backend and firebase as database

I worked on the number of tabs counting module and did some frontend too. I also contributed to the team by designing a logo for the project.

I worked on developing the module for tracking any suspicious activity, during online lectures/exams.

I got to learn some really interesting libraries, like WebGazer.js, it was indeed a great experience.

Anuj Sharma
I am a web developer and competitive programmer. I have won hackathons (including the SIH) as well as coding competitions.
I worked both on the backend and the frontend. I set up the Laravel server on the backend.

I implemented the algorithm, the tracking.js file, the passing of information and setting up the chrome extension.
