Inspiration
Having long layovers that never end when traveling alone.
How it works
It allows travelers to pair up with travelers in certain terminals meeting up at places such as the restaurants.
Challenges I ran into
Trying to find a great idea using the various API's given. Completing the project on time having never competed in a hackathon before. Pivot when using devise gem for rails.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Completing a working app with friends. Finishing.
What I learned
We learned how to implement firebase chat.
What's next for LayoverConnect
To include bars and lounges then expand to other airports. After we are going to create another app to pair users in cities rather than just airports.
