Inspiration
having to go down to the laundry room only to see all the washers are full, leaving and coming back 20 min later and seeing the washing machine you were waiting for is now taken
What it does
it allows you to log if you are using a washer so that others can see it is in use, and after the washer timer runs out to switch it to an open dryer so that if it is not your clothes your switching the person can know where their clothes went
How I built it
Using HTML CSS and some half working JavaScript
Challenges I ran into
getting things to align properly, not having our gif disappear when timer starts, timer placement implementing a chat box to all0w people to anonymously write what dryer they moved a specific washers clothes to
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
making the cute little gif, HAVING IT RUN!!!, and having it run non sequentially (originally you could only trigger the washers in order from 1-6 and if you did it out of order the one you skipped would no longer be usable

What's next for Laundry Time
properly adding chat box, properly placing things on website and making it pretty, changing the automatic dryer send to a drop down menu of available dryers, adding basket option so people can send from washer to basket on top of the available dryer and take home options, changing the timer inteval to second by second interval rather than 10 sec intervals
